Las Vegas motorcycle crash leaves man in critical condition

As a city with a great night life and spectacular views, Las Vegas has a fair share of motorcycle enthusiasts. These types of vehicles can be a great way of enjoying the city, but their use can also result in serious injuries to riders in the event of a crash. For this reason, motorcyclists who have been hurt in accidents caused by negligent drivers may choose to seek compensation through civil lawsuits.

A male motorcyclist is in critical condition after being struck by a car. The man was dragged beneath the vehicle, but reports do not provide the time or distance. Las Vegas Metro dispatched fatal accident investigators to the case, but it is unclear from media sources whether these officers have any leads regarding the cause of the accident. Reports do not provide any information regarding the condition of the car’s driver, or whether that person sustained any injuries.

Construction workers assisted in lifting the vehicle off of the motorcyclist, but no information is offered on whether the proximity to a construction site played a role in the accident. Reports do not mention the ages or genders any of the involved parties, nor whether they were Las Vegas residents. There is no indication that the victim or his family is pursuing civil litigation against the driver.

For those who sustain severe injuries in motorcycle accidents, financial and emotional recovery can be difficult. Pursuing civil litigation against the responsible parties can not only provide closure for victims, but it can also offer monetary compensation to pay for medical bills and other financial losses stemming from the incident. If you would like to know more about filing a personal injury claim, you may want to talk with an attorney.
